Could you take a look at this for me?

Should we be able to electrically detect, (gives audio sound) ONLY SICK Epts?

I have various quotes off the popular therorists ~ "Only sick ear points manifests themselfs".

"Epts that give forth such a sound are positive, otherwise they are false".  And Dr Paul in his Man In The Ear page 55, ~ "These detectors (electrical) permit easy detection of pts in auricular therapy, although there is a difference with the pts in acupuncture. In the Ear only sick points are detectable, while the Chinese pts (???) sick or not, can be detected" ??? I dont understand !

Last year I underwent Auricular therapy tuition where I was asked to find and treat various prescription Epts. My machine failed to give an audio sound on nearly all the pts that my teacher asked me to demonstrate. She also had no luck and blaimed my machine (15 years clinical experience).

In my clinic (gathering case studies for my exam) I have no problem detecting Acute pain conditions.

I have an exam comming up soon and I am again going to be asked to demonstrate my ability to detect and treat points that my teacher asks me to. The patient my be for real (sick) or not!  I am not a fan of cookbook prescriptions but I have to follow her manual  to pass my exam. I ponder because if we are only able to detect sick points, how do we manage say the Hunger Ept for slimming, would that show corruption in the desease pattern? As there are so many epts so close together It must be a hard task if we are supposed to be able to locate all the epts healthy or not!

Lastly while we are on equiptment ~ What is the most popular machine on your side of the world?

I understand that somewhere there is a machine that can measure Hyper and Hypo Epts.

I would ideally love one that can measure before treatment and after. I use Body Acu pts as well.
